.org or .info?

Hi people,

Which domain do you guys think is best? When the .coms and .nets are all taken, which one would you favour, .org or .info?

.org sounds to some people short for "orgy".. well, you never know, right? Maybe "they" are trying to lure you into a porn site. I am not sure though, if anyone knows it stands for organisation at all.

.info however, sounds like short for, well, information, right? Seems like simple logic. Though, on the other hand, .info domains are not very known.

What do you guys think?

 i always just think of a new name if i can't get a .com

 Domain extension plays no difference at all. The only thing to consider is what will your visitor think.

 I'd try a bit harder to get a .com or .net, but .orgs aren't that bad.

I can't say I've ever thought of orgy when I see .org. Maybe you just have a one tracked mind :P

 Right, so what about .info? Does such a domain make sense to people? I want to use it for ppc advertising with Google.
