SEO articles

Me again! One question: Is there a general rule of thumb you have for placing keywords in articles? I've read some good articles about it, but some seem to differ in opinion. One says 3 keywords per article, primary keyword in the header and at the beginning of the first sentence. Then the 2nd and 3rd keyword or phrase spread throughout, keeping semantically related terms throughout. Also a keyword density of 4% for the primary keyword and 1.5% for the others. Does this sound good to you? Also in case nobody's heard of it, check out gorank.com, really cool SEO tools there!

With LSI (Watch Charles Heflin interview) it's not as important to have the exact keyword phrase in your article X times.

What is important is to keep everything on theme and make sure you write it naturally.

Yeah I have the MasterPlan by him, really great stuff. He doesn't actually get into that to much, like how to SEO an article in particular, just LSI and keyword research for your whole site. But I get it, makes sense.

Thanks,

I use LSI all the time ... Google absolutely love it. Don't forget to use this tool: Kwbrowse.com, it will save you a lot of time.
