Adwords-site suspended

I have always personally had good luck with adwods i never had any problems, but i know tons of people have had problems. so i assumed i was possibly one of the lucky ones. I have had my acount on pause for about 5 months (working on seo) like i said previously my website has never had any problems with the ads or kw's-- i have had quite good success with my campagins this is a older adwords acount.

i recently started running my ads again but know have a problem (there not running) this is what google says----

Site suspended--This ad is not running because it points to a URL that has been suspended for site policy. Please review our landing page policies and make the appropriate updates to your website to allow your ad to start showing again.

im really confused because i have not changed anything on my site or ads but google has changed its policy. i have looked though my website and the landing page policies and im at a lost for words.

can someone explain the policiy in laymens terms please?? i can also pm the url if wanted.

thanks
Nathan

Hi Nathan,

I'm sorry to hear your Adwords account has been suspended. There are three factors that Google looks for in a landing page: relevance and original content, transparency, and navigability. You can find a detailed explanation of each criteria at their Help page.

Here are some examples of good and bad landing pages.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

I have heard too many Adword horror stories. The problem with Google is they make people jump through too many hoops and can be too strict and tough in some aspects. Yahoo search marketing is much more user friendly and not a pain in the ass. Definitely not as much traffic but still a valuable source.

Have you tried replying to the email with your question or asking adwords customer support. There are varying reports, but I have always found them really helpful when I have asked them direct questions.

It might just be that you are linking to a site that is a blatant affiliate site or bridging page - that's a no no or you could be linking to a site whose content and niche is deemed ummm, unacceptable (the list of unacceptable niches might surprise you)
