Introduction to this topic
This is the introduction video that will show people how to understand the playlists below, and which one they should watch first.

Thin content with little or no added value
Matt Cutts discusses what "thin content" is, how Google could penalise your site for having it, and what you can do to fix it.
Google Page Speed Insights | Speed Up Your Website
Hands-on lesson for improving your website's score in Google's Pagespeed Insights tool. This is mostly useful if you have cPanel access to your website, since it uses one cPanel tool and FTP to optimize your website's files. It also shows one WordPress plugin that will improve caching. There's a lengthy step in the middle of the video where he shows you how to set up an FTP account and connect to it with FileZilla -- you can skip this if you already know how.
How does Google choose titles for search results?
How Google decides what text to use in your search engine listing.
Is Google doing away with use of the meta description?
Quick discussion of when Google will use your meta description as the description for your page in the search engine listings. Creating a custom meta description can help increase click-thru rates to your page.
Does the position of keywords in the URL affect ranking?
Old but probably still relevant discussion of whether keyword position in your URL affects your rankings. If this wasn't much of a ranking factor in 2009, then it's even less of a ranking factor today.
Is freshness an important signal for all sites?
Matt Cutts talks about "freshness" and how much of an impact it really has on your rankings. The most important thing to note is that some types of searches are "QDF" (queries that deserve freshness, eg if you're looking for news about a recent earthquake), while other types of search don't need such fresh content. If your topics are more evergreen, then you don't need to worry about constantly refreshing your pages.
How to use and add schema rich snippets to your local business website
This shows how to add schema markup in raw HTML (ie, not in WordPress). You should view it full-screen if possible, so you can read his code. Mostly targeted at local businesses, but useful for everyone to know.
Does the use of schema.org markup create a ranking benefit?
Matt Cutts explains how adding schema markup to your site doesn't necessarily improve your rankings. (He doesn't rule it out completely, but notes that having schema markup on your site doesn't necessarily make yours a better site.)
How to use Schema markup for basic local SEO
Shows you how to use schema markup to give consistent and authoritive information about your business to the search engine bots, so that there's a better chance of this information appearing in the search results. SEO - Search Intent & The Conversion Funnel
Very good summary of different user intent, and the kinds of content you should serve up to these different kinds of people. This is great in the keyword research stage, and planning out what sort of content you're going to create. Also talks about how you can turn each type of user into a conversion. This video is likely to give you a few lightbulb moments in the first half. Once he gets into the third tier (action) the diagram starts to get a bit less clear, but even if you just understand the first half, you'll be well ahead of most people!
Keyword Targeting, Density, and Cannibalization - Whiteboard Friday
How to effectively target keywords with your on-page SEO. Talks about what you SHOULD do, but (more importantly) what you don't really need to do anymore.
Simple 301 Redirects WordPress Plugin Review
Old but still relevant video showing how to set up 301 redirects on a WordPress site using the Simple 301 Redirects plugin. Other redirect plugins will likely work in the same way. You can skip the first half of the video if you already know how to install a plugin.
