Homepage is different from landing page. Landing page is the destination page of your ad campaign. For example, you are running an ad campaign through PPC. When users click on the link on the ad, they are then taken to a destination/landing page on your site. This is usually the product review, or if you're a merchant, the sale page for your product.
Homepage ,on the other hand, is the page users first see when they visit your site. For example, the Affilorama homepage shows you links on the top and bottom of the page where members can login and where non-members can begin surfing the different parts of the Affilorama site. It also has an opt in form on the center of the page. The homepage for most sites contain a brief introduction or Welcom page.
Hope that helps. Have a good day!
