Masking Redirects On Clickbank

Hi Guys,

Have just watched the latest webinar replay from the 'Bootcamp' and have a question re; masking redirects for Clickbank products. There has been a massive amount of discussion about this in other affiliate marketing forums with the following reply being sent from Clickbank to one of the other forum members around Nov last year;

"Hello Felix,

Thank you for your email! In order for your referrals to be properly tracked, your hoplinks must not be stored in a frame. When you created your domain name, if you set it to be masked the hoplink will be stored in this manner, and therefore be unreliable. In order for your hoplinks to function properly it is necessary that they be in the following format:

Here's how to make it work...

* Replace AFFILIATE with the affiliate nickname
* Replace vendor with the vendor nickname

It should redirect to the vendor's pitch page. For example:

(YOUR URL) Should go through the hoplink:
which should automatically redirect to

Please ensure there is no "masking" functionality in your domain. You may set it to forward, but in order for you to properly receive credit, it will be necessary that you set you domain to just forward and not masked.

Senior Customer Service" onclick=";return false;" onclick=";return false;"

From my understanding this means that a sale from a masked redirect is not recorded or allocated to your affiliate ID... please correct me if I'm wrong, but I do know that this has been a hot topic recently......

Thank you,
