Question About Warning "Your page contains over 100 links"

Most of my sites are Wordpress Blogs. For those that have been around for awhile, Traffic Traffic 4 is showing the page warning "Your page contains over 100 links" for my home pages (the root index.php).

Does that warning count every link on every post on the blog? The blogs are paginated with around 7-10 posts per displayed page. Since those "pages" are arbitrary in length does TT and, more importantly Google, consider index.php to be one single page so that if there are 500 posts, every link in those 500 posts is considered to be on a single page? And, if that assumption is correct, is there any way around it - or does it really matter?

Do these questions make sense? :-)

Hi Jim,

Traffic Travis counts every link, both internal and external, on the page being analyzed. Home pages often exceed 100 links as they contain links to recent posts, archive pages, and other links.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
