Hello Mayra,

I have checked your website and found following issues:

Website is not optimized;
and does not have good online presence too.

With website optimization, I mean that there is no unique title given to any web page which is very important.
If you are looking for a good traffic from search engines, you have to optimize it well for search engines first. For that, you need to do proper keyword research where you can find target keywords for your business.
Add those target keywords in website title, meta description, meta keywords, heading tags and content as well.
The second issue I found is in navigation. Navigation can be more clear which will help users easily find the categories and products they are looking for.
After this, the main thing is Online Presence: In this, you need to find those profiles or websites that can be helpful for the promotion of your website and further helpful in traffic and sales generation.
The main out of them are creating your accounts on social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, G+, LinkedIn and Pinterest etc.

For further, there is a need to competitor analysis where one can analyze the activities of competitor and plan how you can do that thing in a better way.
If you think that you can do all these things by yourself, then you can move further with these strategies, otherwise you can consult SEO experts for the same. They will make a plan and deliver the best results to you in terms of traffic and sales.

Hi Mayra,

What have you been doing so far when it comes to marketing and promotion? I have a quick look at your website for backlinks and this does not have any backlinks yet. I am assuming you have not done anything in terms of marketing your website.

Please take note that publishing your website is different from promoting it. In order to get traffic, you need to promote your website first. You have two ways to do this: free or paid.

Daljeet refers to the free ways to get website traffic, which is through SEO. If you want to get paid traffic you can check out PPC ads.

I know all these are kind of overwhelming. I suggest you go over our free lessons in website marketing to help you understand more about how you can promote your website.

Hi Myra,

Mary and Daljeet have given you information on what you need to do to market the site. My recommendations are on the site itself and what you can do to improve it. This is equally important because you need to be able to keep on your site any traffic that you get from your marketing efforts.

I don't see anything wrong with how your website looks, but there is a general feeling of "what-is-this-all-about." It looks to me like you have an online store of sorts. Yuo have your gadgets, and then stuff for women, then furniture, etc.

Then you have that ad on top, right before the header. I suggest you take that out and place it on the sidebar, then place your header or your store logo on there instead.

You have a lot of recommended products. Try limiting them to 5 or 10, and say "On Sale Today" or something like that instead of "recommended". You have to give your visitors reason to click on that link. If you say you recommend something, then tell me why you are and why I should buy it.

Getting traffic is only half of what you need to do. Once you have people on your site, you need to convince them to buy, and you do that through your site's content.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Hello Mayra,

Do not get yourself confused between all these things. If you do not know the right practice for website optimization then you must for the solution which I advised you previously. Moreover, that will be helpful for a good website performance, so in that case, getting website optimization done to your website can be a good deal for you.

Thanks,
Daljeet

Submitting your sitemap to search engines will only help in indexing your pages quickly. Traffic will still depend largely on backlinks and on your onsite SEO.

Check out PPC ad is Adword?

Yes PPC like Adwords, Bing Ads, or Yahoo Ads.

There will be some software, How to write a good title and meta description.

You do not need to use a software. You can refer to the free lessons in Affilorama. The free lessons include onsite SEO tutorials.

The basics of SEO should be followed in order to get organic traffic. See to it that site navigation, meta description, web design and content are in place so your site gets indexed nicely.

If you are having a hard time getting traffic to your website I suggest having it optimized since you are not fluent in English, maybe finding an online marketing agency can help you. I know a great one in Markham called 360 Business Local.

Hope this helps!
