All RSS feed sites can provide you with backlinks. I also suggest that you Ping your RSS links after for fast indexing.

 Definitely RSS feed sites provide backlinks. FriendFeed may also come in embeddable RSS feed intended for website using its widgets. These are just some of the attributes why it is regarded as one of the best tools for discovery and/or research.

 Also what I love about RSS is you now have sites that cater to a list of RSS sites, in which you just need to fill-up the form and submit your RSS link. :)
