John Reese's Traffic Secrets - Old version still applicable?

Has anyone bought John Reese's Traffic Secrets and is the old version still applicable today?

 Hi Eddie,
No I have not purchased this, but have been reading lots about it.
From my understanding, and what I have read, it is still very applicable. John Reese is completely stopping Traffic Secrets to make way for his few product that is coming out soon.

I receive emails from his mailing list. Here is what he wrote:

- The remaining courses WILL be sold for only $377.

- You DO get the entire original course -- all the
DVDs, CD-Roms, Manuals, Workbook, and
Cheat Sheets.

- And as I mentioned in the announcement, anyone
that buys one of these 'sale' copies (or had already
bought the course) will get a huge discount on
"Traffic Secrets 2.0" that will be out this summer.

* But the new "2.0" version will not contain the info on
Affiliate Marketing, InfoProducts, Conversion,
Copywriting, Email List Building, etc. like the
original version. (Which is why you should grab
one if you don't already have it.)


So the new one will not contain the basics that the original Traffic Secrets contains.

 hey Eddie, Yeah, I've got it and most of the stuff is still very relevant. A lot of the adwords/overture stuff isn't as relevant anymore, but theres still a lot of gems.

Definitely worth whatever hes asking now if you have the cash.

 Hi Cchhita,

I did get that email.

I am mainly interested in his traffic secrets section.
That is why I am wondering how much is still applicable today if he is putting out a new version.

If all the traffic methods still apply, then John's new version could maybe be all about web 2.0 or something new.

If all the traffic methods in the old version are flawed, and that is the reason for the update, then I would not buy the old version?

That is reason for my question.
