Was surprised to see so much difference between some of my plural and singular keyword versions, in both Traffic Travis Pro 4 and in Google AdWords Keyword Tool.
For example try searches on: sales page / sales pages
landing page / landing pages
This affects not only which version to include in your content for SEO, but also how much you'll pay in a PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaign.
Perhaps in a PPC campaign it might let you get a lower price per click for nearly the same traffic, by using just one version? Or perhaps you'll want to be sure to place both versions in an ad group, to avoid missing any traffic?
Ideas about plural versions of keywords anyone?
