Is 835 words too long for my homepage article?

The article in my homepage is 835 words, because in this article I welcome my visitors and give them a brief overview of the website and myself, then I start discussing one of my topics (keywords) to show them that I have great info on the website.

So I was wondering should I keep it this way or is it too long?

I don't think it's a good idea to split them into a welcome page and make my topic on another page, because I think by giving them an overview + great info on the first page is a great way to trust the website and keep them longer.

What do you think?

Thank you,

The Money is definitely in the list. At least that is what everybody thinks.
But after 3 years online I figured out that money is in the TEAM.

Hi Ahmed,

It's a pretty long article. You may want to split it to make in 500 words.

Then, use another keyword for the second page.

Don't forget that your ultimate goal is to get people to click on your affiliate links.
