SEO and an alternative to Traffic Travis for a Mac

Hi!

Does anyone have any suggestions on some programs that I can use aside from Traffic Travis. I am a Mac user and Traffic Travis does not have a version for Mac users. My hopes is to find a program that does exactly what Traffic Travis does or close to what Traffic Travis does. I am aware that I could purchase the windows operating system and run it on my mac however it would be more feasible for me at this time to just purchase a program like Traffic Travis rather than going through the trouble of buying a new operating system and then purchasing Traffic Travis. Any help is greatly appreciated.

hmmm, I am not a Mac user but I have a friend that uses macs and he could not find anything.
I did however do a Google search and found these for you.
Hope it helps.
(Please note I can not vouch for any of these)
Regards
Troy

Hi

There is a product out there called Market Samurai. It is still in beta but i am using it in conjunction with Traffic Travis. I find them to work well together. I do not run a Mac but all the tutorials are done on a Mac. There is a free trial download to check it out.

Hope it helps.

Wanted to say thanks for taking the time to answer my question and giving good information! All of the suggestions were great links! After checking them out I'm leaning towards marketsamurai.com and yoast.com for seo tips.

The best alternative without doubt is Market Samurai and Keyword Blueprint.
The Keyword Blueprint is better than the samurai market to find the best seo keywords of the net because it is more accurate in the actual number of searches done on google, and this happens due to algurism data entered into the software itself. and is also faster to identify seo and adwords keywords.
Regarding the Market Samurai is also a powerful tool to find the best niches but not alone. Market Samurai is also an excellent tool for finding the best content for your website / blog to Backlink, ads etc ...
In short are the best seo tools on the market, and both run on Windows and Mac.

You can find more at http://marketsamurai.com (market samurai official site)

I've been using market samurai for the last 30 days. It's pretty powerful software and looks like it's going to be even better once they get all the features nailed down.

Go to http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/train ... 9day02.php scroll down a bit and look for the Market Samurai link on the right (not the video) for a free 40 day trial.

Hey guys,

I found something interesting I'd like to share. I am a MAC user and I thought using Traffic Travis would be impossible until I stumbled across this link. It is a link straight from the traffic travis website.

It pretty much tells you how you can install traffic travis using either Cross over or Virtual Box. I used Cross over to install traffic travis and it works very well on my MAC.

Just thought it would be nice to share with the group.

I'm very sorry but we have decided to cancel the Mac edition at this time. We have been unable to come up with a solid solution without re-writing the whole of the application and ending up with two separate code bases and a below par product.

Instead of a Mac version, we are working on an online version of the software at the moment which will mean you will be able to use it even if you're on Mac.

Please keep an eye on the Affilorama blog as you will probably be notified through there first.

All the best!

you can use Market Samurai or wordtracker. This post talks about seo tools for Mac users. Of course you can also use the free adword keyword tool from Google.

You can use Vmware Fusion or Parallels to get the software running on your Mac.

If you don't want to purchase these programs, then yes, you could use Google Adwords' keyword tool for keyword tool. Traffic Travis gets the data for keyword research directly from Google Adwords so the values should be able the same. :)

Hi Mario,

Yes you may. It is a matter of personal preference, really. However, of course, it's still best to use a good keyword research tool. I suggest that you at least try to use 2 tools for your keyword research so you can guarantee that you got a good list of keywords.
