I know that most of us hire writers, but there are some of us here that work on the side as content writers. The following article is a bit dated (from July of last year) but I think this helps a lot of content writers avoid being stuck in a sticky situation:

 Yes, the article you have recommended helped me a lot. I've been into content writing for years now and found out how really difficult it is to promote your write-ups. I may have been expected too much at first that I overshadowed some circumstances. However, I've learned a lot from my experiences.
