Wordpress plugin on Mark's site

It appears to be a plugin rather than just an ordinary excerpt because ordinary excerpt setting in
WordPress only shows up to 55 characters. There is a lot of WP plugins that can do this like "TinyMCE Excerpt", "Page Excerpt" and "Custom Excerpts". Let me know if you're asking for the exact plugin used on Mark's http://www.flightsimulatorinfo.com website and I'll get back to you on this.

I made my own plugin, it is above. It is reasonably self explanatory, once you install it, it adds a page to your wordpress settings menu called 'selective content'. For my flight simulator site, I ticked the first 3 and last 2 boxes (home, category, archive, author and tag snippets), and I set the snippet length to 1000 characters.

This plugin also allows you to exclude pages from your website menu if you want to add pages (not posts) to use for ppc or other reasons, you simply enter the page numbers you want excluded. Simply load up a page within wordpress and it'll say post=[pagenumber] at the end of the url, so you can find the page number.

This plugin is not compatible with the affiloblueprint wordpress theme, but is compatible with almost every other standard wordpress them including those made with webartisteer.com.

Hello, I'm very new to WP and plugin's. Is there somewhere on this site that i can learn about them? There's so many I'm noticing that it's confusing.
