Website Links Not Working

Hi All,

Finally got my website to the stage to start link building and have found out that all my call to action links are not working?? The couple of links to external sites I have are fine.

I use Firefox browser and all works fine on there, but I got someone else to have a look for a second opinion & using IE could not open any, just came up Error 404 page not found. I double checked using Safari (I have an apple Mac) and same deal Error 404.

Any suggestions to fix would be much appreciated

Thank you

Hard to tell what the problem is Steven. If you're on a Mac I'm assuming you're using Wordpress.

From what I can tell, the links to external sites are working as you mentioned. It's the internal links that are not working. There is obviously something wrong with where the URLs are pointing.

Try playing around with those. If those are supposed to be cloaked redirect links you need to make sure you've uploaded your php files, and also, those links should end in ".php" which they don't.

Hope this helps... a bit,

Jason

Thank You Jason...
For your quick response.

Yes I am using wordpress and am following the blogging bootcamp as closely as possible, except I am promoting physical products instead of digital, As this subject is my passion and I know a lot about all aspects. It is my goal for this site to have a hundred pages or more eventually.

As you said is just the internal links not working, I did as you suggested and played around a bit.

Finally found the answer. I have all those pages listed as private as I did not want them showing in the page list on top of the site. When I took them off private they are accessible on other browsers. Still cannot understand why as the link is the same & could be opened in Firefox & not others??

So hopefully problem solved. Now just have to work out how to get rid of the page titles from the page list on the home page. Any tips there?

Thanks Again
