Using the Wordpress All In One SEO Plugin

Hi there,

1st of all: Thank you for this great website and the AffiloBlueprint Course! As I am working my way through I decided to choose the Wordpress option when building a website as I currently don't have the money for another software and by the way like WP very much.

I am now in week 5 and installed the WP All In One SEO Plugin which works great on all pages except my startpage. As I must turn on to set the Front Page to a static Page I chose the one I did first and which is named the same as my website.

http://www.sportfitnesstraining.com

But my problem is that when I call this domain with my browser it does not send me to http://www.sportfitnesstraining.com/spo ... -training/ but stays with the main domain. Also the meta description and the meta keywords do not work.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

You did this correctly. That is the way it is supposed to look.

Your site looks good.

Thanks for commenting and thanks for the compliment ;-)

I just thought that would push my Site rating in Traffic Travis a little more up! The higher the grade the better, I thought as TT behaves similar to search engines. But instead I think of creating an aditional start page (like Mark did, something like an overview) and rework this page to something different. We'll see :-)

Great to communicate with colleagues :-)

I did the same thing, but I don't think this will hurt in the search engines. I haven't checked my page with TT. I have been thinking about going back and doing what you mentioned, just making a general overview page. There are just so many tasks to catch up on.

true, true :-)

But I like it! It's a chance for me to be creative with - hopefully - a nice monetary outcome over the time.

Yeah, me too.

I want to quit my job. Especially this summer - lots of travel that I don't like...

I like travelling but - getting a little offtopic - I don't like all these processes around it and all this bureaucracy and stuff..

I think you'll find with allinone SEO plugin that the homepage keywords and descriptions are set in the main plugin settings (Settings menu > Allinone) whereas for individual pages its set when you edit or add the page ...

Hmm I like travelling too, looking forward to Cancun next month but not looking forward to the bus trip from Cancun to Mex City!

cool tip, thank you. That worked great. As I need to get a little more speed in article creation, I will shift the reworking of the homepage to a more overview style to the nearer future :-)

Have a good trip then and hopefully you have an air-condition ;-)
