Uncontrollable redirect

I have a blog that's been going nicely for about 5 months.

I have blog posts for articles and pages for snippets of information. Today I added a new page and now my primary domain name redirects automatically to this static page. This happened right after I installed wordpress 3.0, but I don't know if it has anything to do with it.

I checked my redirects and all seems where it should be. I just cannot figure this out.

Any help?

Thanks,

Carl

Carl,

check in your wp-admin General -> Reading options. That's generally where the default page shown is, If you are using the AB 2.0 or 3.0 theme, you might also check the theme options if the "page" coming up is a post to see which one is the default one coming up.

Hope this helps some.

Hi Grady,

Thanks for the info. I created the page with Artisteer. I don't think it's compatible with wordpress 3.0. I will keep my temporary fix in place until the software is updated. Or, I might just go back to wp 2.92, but that's a hassle.

In that case, I'd check with the support for Artisteer and see what they have to say. This might be something they've heard about and/or have a fix for.

Hi,

I discovered a fix for uncontrollable redirects from homepage as a result of upgrading to WP 3.0. It's a bug in the redirection plug in. I just removed the redirect for "/" and all is back to normal.

Hey Guys,

I need further clarification on affiliate redirect.

My Clickbank ID is evmartinez
The instruction to us is to replace enterid with our Clickbank ID

My example :

below is the original link given in the download file of affilorama
http://www.meetyoursweet.com?aff=enterid&pg=relrecovn

replaced with my Clickbank ID evmartinez
http://www.meetyoursweet.com?aff=evmart ... =relrecovn

Another case example :

http://enterid.makingup.hop.clickbank.net

replaced with my Clickbank ID evemartinez
http://evmartinez.makingup.hop.clickbank.net - is this correct?

Another example

http://enterid.mwebb.hop.clickbank.net/

replaced with my Clickbank ID
http://evmartinez.mwebb.hop.clickbank.net/ - is this correct?

I just want to 100% that I will be doping it correctly.

Thanks,

Ernie
