Thesis Theme Wordpress versus Artisteer

Hi everyone does any one have any suggestion on which program would be better Thesis for Wordpress or Astiteer I am brand new to building a blog and wanted to start out in the right direction. I thank you for your opinion in advance.

 Hi Alan,
This is just my opinion, but if you are new to this then artiseer is best.
Thesis has a steep learning curve... I know, because I tried...lol

Artiseer will allow you to do your own theme.
You may even want to go with a more already done theme like wpremix or flexibility as they are more drag'n'drop

 Start out on the right foot, go with Thesis. They now have a movie on how to construct a site. It's easy. Paul

That is ok for people who know CSS but from my experience with Thesis..
I had a hell of a time trying to customize my site exactly how I wanted it.
Sure I could pay someone to do it for me.. but then that defeats the purpose of buying it yourself.
Hey, It's a great platform but definitely not for newbies in my opinion.
The video might be ok, but can you learn how to customize it the way you want?

 Thank you so much for your input it was very informative I had another question for you how about x-sitepro do you think the SEO platform is better then artisteer or does Artisteer have better capability. Thanks for your help.

 Hi,
I think both are good but xsitepro is great for SEO.
Remeber though they are both different programs.
One is based on wordpress, the other is a static webpage.
