My blog wp theme won't let edit the pages name and it's frustrating. But hostgator told me i need to make a child theme. I don't know how. I need help with or to find another free wp theme that i can edit the page title name.

Okay, it's not a child theme that i need anymore. I need to know who take out the text below my blog it says "About". And want to put images up on my blog like this blog http://laineygossip.com/Articles/Detail ... r-28--2012. And how also how to make the top of my page title in fancy writing, because right now it does not apear. And my images need to show up in the front page.

I'm sorry but we cannot provide support if you're not using Affilotheme. You might need to get in touch with the theme developer to find out.

You can get answers to questions like this on the WordPress forum.

As for page titles, they do not accept inline CSS codes (like the post/page editor content does) so you can't change how they look in the post/page editor. You can modify the theme's CSS code in the Dashboard "Appearance > Edit" editor. I recommend getting the "Advanced Code Editor" plugin to make theme editing easier.

And about your original question - the WordPress Codex (manual) tells how to easily create child themes, so that your theme edits won't be wiped out the next time you update your theme. Just do a search on "child theme" at www.wordpress.org.

I don't think you can create child themes for Affilotheme though.
