Difference Between Free and Paid Wordpress

What is the main difference between the free WordPress blog and paying the $99 premium price....other than the money of course.

Is it worth the $99.00

Thanks all

Hi Jason,

Wordpress is essentially free. It comes free with most hosting providers, if not all. What is the USD$99 Premium price you're referring to? I can only think of the standalone Wordpress that you install on your hosting server (if Wordpress is not provided) or the Wordpress that developers use.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Yes, I think it is just the upgrade to Wordpress.com blogging. But I realized that is not what I want. I think what I am going to do is buy the Affiloblueprint and utilize the the Affilotheme to build our site using wordpress. Now my question is this. Does that come with a blog, or am I really just building a glorified blog website. We have our niche and some really cool ideas of what we want to do with it. I just get confused on building this affiliate site and then also having a blog... I mean do I really even need a blog. It seems like the site I will build is basically a blog that we can update everyday with new articles and information regarding our niche. That make sense????

Thanks for the help...you guys are awesome!

Affiloblueprint shows you how to create an affiliate marketing website, not a blog. However, whether the site looks like a blog or a website is entirely up to you. I suggest you look at Mark's Enlightenment Gateway site. He built this as a sample Affiloblueprint 3.0 site.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Free WordPress does not allow you to include advertisements of any type.
Free WordPress provides a limited amount of space and customization options.
