Amazon Widgets Don't Work In Chrome

Anyone got any ideas, I'm missing out here, potential customers viewing my site using Chrome can't see my Amazon BUY NOW widgets. They show up fine in IE and in FireFox browsers. Is this another Google ploy ?

I don't think it is any ploy of Google. In fact Blogger allows monetizing by Amazon!!

Hi Andrew,

I'm sorry to hear that. Are you using the latest version of Chrome? I've looked at several sites using the Amazon widget and don't recall having any issues viewing/clicking them.

If you could post the link to one of your pages using the Amazon widget, we can look into the issue further for you.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

This could be a long shot, but I did just read an article about someone who had MANY amazon affiliate links on their blog & their ranking went from a 25 down to a 250ish. I wish I could find the article for you. I'll keep searching. Anyway, they reduced the amount of amazon affiliate links they had, their rating immediately went back to where it had been. If after posting link, we still can't find a way to resolve, you may try reducing your amazon "advertising," just to see if they come back up. This is all assuming you had previously been able to see the widgets in Chrome & they seem to just recently have disappeared. Like I said, long shot, but might be worth a try. If I find the article this evening, I'll post it.

Okay, here's the link to the article that I was referring to above. Obviously, I didn't remember all of the details perfectly. I'm not saying that Google is being malicious in the way they are doing things, but there may be some rules (written or unwritten) that they have for displaying things on your page.

Still, it's most probably some sort of technical glitch we can get figured out. I only raise this issue because there are two of you that are having the same difficulty.
