Affilo guys and gals,

Here is an up to date list of article directories. It's awesome for those of you doing article marketing.

If you are not submitting articles yet, do it because it works. period.

This list will help you to get the more bangs for your time. For the players, just outsource this to your VAs and let the magic happens, or you could use a software.

Note: the guy who created the list is apparently selling his software, and I am not affiliated in anyway with this software. I am just sharing the list.

TIP: I only submit to ezinearticles.com and the top 10 article directories. And changing your articles and title a little bit will not hurt.

I will review them and try to post a moderated list here. I dont see a point in wasting your time doing submissions for directories you won't get credit for. Half of those directories wont either
- publish your article (they are dead/broken/abandoned)
- are no more indexed by google because of unmoderated content
- have very low page rank
- lead only to bad neighbourhood because they accept just about any article linking to any site

I think Google is now more about authority quality links rather than #links.

Anybody with a different experience?

That is true. Most of those article directories are dead. It was actually very frustrating, when I was first submitting my articles to about 50 directories by hand only to find that maybe 10-15 of them work.

It would be wonderful if someone created the LIVE list for those. I can help to add some to the list. just PM me.

All of them accepted my articles

Yes Alda. The directories DS posted accepted all his articles. We need to remember that it is no longer about quantity these days, it's now all about quality and relevance. Make sure your article has both before submitting it.
