I am trying to add links (aweber forms, or ads) to the sidebar for the Affilorama theme and every time I put a link in the space in theme options- Sidebar Content (Bottom) or (top) it kills the link by switching the all of the / to \. I am using wordpress 3.0.1 on a hostgator server. Any help?

Hi Dozer3060.
Which version Affilorama Theme are you using?
Would you care to share your website URL so that we can take a look?

Faradina,
I am having this same issue and the problem seems to lie with the affiloblueprint themes (1.0/1.1) not being compatible with the upgraded wordpress 3.0.1.
a) your aweber opt in box will work fine as long as you don't try to change it after upgrading (which is not very user friendly)
b) If you do (like I did), you will have trouble because the theme isn't compatible with wordpress.
Faradina, I would be happy to share with you what is happening with my site - I can give you administrative privileges with my username and password. How do I private message you?
I just would like someone to take a look at it before I have to completely overhaul my site and use a new theme. It looks like that might be the only way around. Because in the theme options menu, not only is it changing the code for my javascript opt in box, it is also changing the code for my footer.
Faradina, any help would be great. I just need to know what to do from here.
Thank you so very much,
Robyn

Hi Robyn,
I suggest that you use the latest version of the Affilorama Theme instead. The AB Theme has since been renamed to AffiloTheme 3.0. Please download the theme from the link below (requires login):

If you're still experiencing the same issue after uploading the AffiloTheme, please let us know.
