it shouldn't as long as you don't change the permalinks for your pages. the only thing that may change it is if you use categories for your posts, and have category names included in your permalinks, that will change them. for that, you will have to set up a 301 redirect to the new url so that you don't lose any links that you have built.

I would just like to add that the option to change pages to posts will only appear the first time you activate Affilotheme 3. If you want to convert them later on, you have to install a plugin called p2p.
Want a step-by-step training program in affiliate marketing? Affiloblueprint is a "hand-holding" course that will will show you how to build a site, drive traffic to it, and monetize it.

Hi Michelle,
When I siloed my site and I convert my pages to posts with AT3, will my old siloing also apply to the new posts?
Another thing: When I want to change later my siloing structure because I add a lot of new keywords to my site, I need to set up a 301 redirect for many pages/posts. Is there a plugin which do this automatically? Maybe AT3 can do this? Or will do this in future versions (a suggestion ;-) )??
Regards,
Waldemar

@Waldemar:
Are you referring to the Silo option for displaying the articles in the sidebar of the AffiloTheme v.3.0? This option works the same way as the silo option of the previous versions of the theme (AffiloBlueprint Theme).
There is no need for you to setup a 301 redirect once you upgrade the theme to AffiloTheme 3.0. You just have to make sure that the permalink structure is set to /%postname%/.
For example, before converting to posts, your page URL goes in this format:
After converting to post, the URL might become like this:
This happens if the permalink is set to /%category%/%postname%/. To fix this, just change the permalink to /%postname% so that the old URL will be restored back to this format:

Hi Mike,
Thats correct, but thats not the silo option I meant. The silo option in ABTheme2.0 didn't worked with categories. It worked by giving some pages a parent page in wordpress. After that I get this kind of URL:
Lose Fat Exercises is an article by itself, with the URL *http://myurl.com/lose-fat-exercises/
But its also a parent of the article page "Arm Toning Exercises".
So after converting I don't need this structure:
After converting my URL should be still *http://domain.com/lose-fat-exercises/arm-toning-exercises/ because all my backlinks are pointing to this URL.
Hope you understand what I mean.
Regards,
Waldemar
