Is it possible to make a landing page when some one types in such as www.xxxx.com or does it have to have a www.xxxx.com/index.html ? If you can how do you set it up that way?

Most domains will search for index.html, index.htm or index.php by default. as long as one of them is in your directory for your domain name, you will be ok with just www.xxxx.xxx
