listened to the repeat of the webinar from the other night about link building and tried the trick Matt taught using Tumbler. The only problem was I didn't get the same pages he did and I did everything step by step that he did and never got a screen where I could choose a free background. I tried it 4 times and every time the same thing happened. Did anyone else have the same problem of not being taken to the next page. Thanks

Personally, I don't think the Tumblr thing will be very effective in the long run. Tons of people saw that video and if you go to some of the high PR Tumblr pages they are spammed up with hundreds of "likes" now, severely diluting the link juice.

Just my 2 cents.

Hi Mark,

When you log in to your Tumblr site, you can click on the Customize my site link on the sidebar. You will then be taken to another page where you can change choose a theme for your Tumblr site.

I also saw the webinar and Matt's great. I learned a lot from it, but Clayton has a point and I have to agree with him. Tumblr will soon be overrun thereby losing its efficacy. Matt shared some other ideas during the webinar that can also help with SEO but I think a lot focused on the Tumblr part because it was demonstrated. :)
