what does that mean.

error 404 is what you get when you type in a webpage or click on a link and the page cannot be found - that's the basic answer.

looks like someone is going to give you software to upload onto your website to redirect them to another link if visitors to your site get a 404 error, hence giving them traffic and you money.

I think the best thing is to try to concentrate on getting your site working so you don't get any broken links etc and make money that way rather than concentrate on 404 redirect traffic earnings... I never even knew that existed... There's a way to make money out of everything these days isn't there!

Focus on building a solid business, there are unlimited opportunities, you can't make money off all of them, there's just not enough time.
