So I have a guy I am working with to rank his website that is a .org and we are trying to rank it on Google.com. The results that he gets when he searches on google.com are putting his site lower than when I search for it. I am making sure he is not logged into Google and he said he cleared all of his history since I know that Google will change the results based on that. I need to know that if the fact he is simply checking from the UK and I am checking from the US that the SERP will be different. As I said we are both checking from google.com and not .uk or anything of that nature.

I appreciate any insight you guys can give me on this.

Yes Google does customize search results based on where you are located. It would be a good idea to ask your client to search Google via a proxy.

Dont need a proxy just go to google advanced search, dates usage regions and select region
