Are mini-networks still effective?
Hello,
Do mini-networks, of the types popularized by Jeff Johnson, Mike Campbell and others, still have the same level of importance that they had a few years ago? Or is the whole process rather made redundant by the more immediate SEO benefits available from Blogs, Social Media and other such methodologies?
In other words, if you are a sophisticated SEO affiliate marketer, do YOU still set up and use mini-networks NOW?

In my opinion, they all tie in together.
Social media and external sites and blogs etc that you do not control on your own hosting should be used as tools to drive traffic to your main sites, hosted by you.
They all have there place in the grand scheme of things.
You should never rely on any 1 method. IM is a changing and moving beast and you need to be able to adapt quickly.
The fundamentals will always be the same and I think having 1 main website/blog for each income stream is important.
Then you can build media around that.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize
they were the big things.
