Escaping the Slave Cycle with Mark Joyner

The Slave Cycle (briefly covered in the interview between Gideon & Mark Joyner) is the state that most people in the industrialized world live in. It’s the cycle where we perform work we don’t love just because we need to feed, clothe and house ourselves. When we’re finished at the end of the day we’re tired, humiliated and crushed. We sit in front of the television and it tells us that in order to be happy, we need to buy lots of things. (Of course this isn’t true.) The television also makes us engage in harmful activities by promoting these activities as being things that will make us happy -- for instance, by showing images of slim, happy people eating junk food and drinking alcohol. It’s very subtle and affects us on a subconscious level. The things you watch on TV shows reinforce what the advertisers want you to think. At the end of all this, we have no energy left and we can’t pull ourselves out of this process. It slowly erodes our health and makes us worse.

That’s the bad news.

The good news is that we can pull ourselves out of this process. Mark Joyner's new system, Simpleology, is designed to do just that. It’s designed to boost your energy levels simply by making some small habitual changes. You’ll find yourself achieving what you need to achieve throughout the day, and having more energy at the end of the day to move your life forward.

What is Simpleology?

Simpleology is a system comprised of lessons, tasks and software to help you keep on track. It ensures that you’re not sitting down in front of the computer and emerging hours later having only achieved 15 minutes of actual work. The software takes you through a daily target practice to help you achieve your goals.

Simpleology is better than a simple organizer. Organizers don’t work because they allow you to see everything you need to do at once, and it’s completely overwhelming for most people. When you have all these tasks sitting on your “to-do” list, it clutters your brain as well as your list. It’s like trying to run too many programs at once on your computer -- it slows you down. The idea is to shut down all these extra “processes” so that you’re able to focus more fully on the tasks that really need to be done, and you have more energy.

Simpleology also has a concept of the “mental lock box” where you can note down the contents of your overflowing to-do list and lock it away to be dealt with later. It’s stored in a piece of web-based software instead of in your head! Once it’s written down and locked away, your brain knows that it can relax and forget about it all, and again it frees you up to do more.

By taking you through the process of figuring out what NEEDS to be done each day, you’re able to get a lot more done. And by helping you escape bad habits (like checking your email in the morning before you do anything else), Simpleology helps you to get more out of your time and start growing your business to its full potential.

Simpleology is not just for internet marketers or entrepreneurs. It’s also a great help for people in regular 9-5 type jobs as well. Mark Joyner talks about companies he’s found who are using the Simpleology system with their employees, and how it’s having a tremendous impact on their productivity.

In short, Simpleology is the simple science of getting what you want. Most people aren’t courageous enough to go out there and get what they want because they’ve been conditioned by failures. Simpleology teaches you how to get success after success after success, and how to amplify your existing successes. Simpleology is about observing results and reproducing good results, and it’s a science.
