I'll be completely honest - I am a Wordpress addict. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I think Wordpress is the best CMS (content management system) for beginners - period. Now I know a lot of people don't think of Wordpress as a CMS - it is, after all primarily used as blogging software. However when it came to choosing a system to use for my...

You know that there's lots of free software out there – but you also know that some of it is better than others. So when you're first starting out, how do you choose what to use? And isn't software you pay for always going to be better? Not necessarily. While there is of course a lot of really great paid software out there, there are also many free...

I’m going to be brave and go out on a limb by saying that many affiliates probably didn’t get into affiliate marketing so they could be web builders. Of course, now that you’ve given it a whirl maybe you're starting to enjoy it (cough, cough), no seriously it can actually be a lot of fun.But something that could be cramping your style and sucking your will to live is if you're using...

So the question has been asked – what achieves a higher ranking; a blog or a website? Before we discuss this question in more detail, let's just...

Not all of us come into this business as complete web design and graphic design wizards. Most of us don't know our PSDs from our PDFs, and learning how to build a website can be a painful learning curve. We need all the help we can get.
So a lot of new affiliates turn to website templates for that helping hand.
The thing is, templates can sometimes be more trouble than they're worth. There are a lot of website templates available on the internet that look really good when you go to buy...

The keys to a highly effective banner advertisement are:
#1: Good Ad Copy, Focus on Relevancy.
If someone is on a page on your website that contains an article about how to stop a dog from chewing, then your advertisement should be promoting something to do with a product that stops a dog from chewing... even if the product you are promoting is a generic dog training product. You should focus the content of your banner on the reason why the visitor is reading YOUR webpage, this will make...
