Website Ping Tool

The Ping Tool can be used to let search portals and other services know when your site has been updated.

You should run this each time you update your content in order to encourage these services to crawl your site more often. (Being crawled more often doesn't necessarily improve your search ranking, but it will help ensure your whole site has been "seen", and that your search listings are up to date.)

Enter your website address (either the specific page, or a more general address from which the new content is easy to find: eg affilorama.com/blog ) and the Ping tool will inform the sites you've selected. You can ping any page on your site.

Only use this tool when fresh content has been added to your site, or when you've made major alterations to existing content on your site. Remember that it's a good idea to update your site content at least once a week.
