How to set the preferred URL on a Wordpress site?

To set the preferred URL (www or non-www) for your wordpress site, please follow the steps below:

1. Log on to your Wordpress dashboard.

2. Go to Settings > General

2. Enter your preferred URL format in the WordPress address (URL) and Site address (URL) fields.

Note: If you prefer to have www in your URL, you should put in http://www.domain.com and if you prefer to not have www, then put in http://domain.com. Replace domain.com with your actual domain name.

3. Make sure that you save the change by clicking the Save Changes button.
