Why do I get an error message when I try to install wordpress on my Affilorama Premium-hosted site?

The error message There was a problem installing the requested script. Please make sure that the directory you are installing to is empty comes up when you attempt to install WordPress into a directory that has files in it. By default, WordPress will be installed to the public_html directory. Please make sure that this directory is empty before you install WordPress.

Normally, all that you would need to delete is the index.html file in the public_html directory. To delete it,

  1. Click on File Manager in the Files section of your hosting control panel.

  1. Right-click the index.html file and click Delete on the pop-up menu.

  1. Click OK on the message box that comes up.
