I agree, I have a lot of high ranking pages as well and I never worry about no follow. There are people who believe that the no follow tag makes no difference when it comes to link credit...based on the results I'm getting now, it sees to be that they're right

Is email marketing effective for small niches?

You have to think about how persistent the need is. If someone has a yeast infection, they're probably going to do something about it within 30 days...if they don't buy the product during that time, they'll probably never buy. On the other hand, in the personal growth niche, that's an ongoing process, so you can do newsletters for years.

That's pretty scary that Google can do that...I think it's a bit extreme on their part...what if you're experimenting with one site and just figuring things out?

That's a good formula, I also look for an audience that's hungry enough to buy right away, makes a big difference in how fast you can get it profitable.

Quality and relevancy are important, but Google definitely has it in for affiliate marketers. Just look at their adwords forum and the way they talk to affiliate marketers, it's pretty unprofessional.

In the beginning, it's lack of focus, but once you start succeeding it's the ability to let go that becomes difficult...delegating things. After that...still working on that one myself
