What is the difference between UNIX hosting and Windows host

29th September, 2016 - Posted by Stephanie Grabowski

I use to work for Network Solutions and we would get that question a lot from customers. We always recommended UNIX servers for stability, but I'm sure Windows is just as good these days. Although if you talk to some people in the web hosting management field, they'll still swear by UNIX servers.

Clickbank - US tax requirements for non-residents

29th September, 2016 - Posted by Stephanie Grabowski

I'm not an accountant, but if you're paying tax on your income in your country then I would imagine your following your country's tax laws. If you don't have a business presence in the USA, I don't believe you have to pay US taxes as well.

I've known people who have made a quick buck on blackhat/greyhat SEO methods, but it usually never lasts because they keep getting banned or blacklisted from the search engines. Whitehat SEO is more time consuming, but will provide you consistent traffic over time and you don't run any risks of a ban.

Do I have too many keywords for my website

28th September, 2016 - Posted by Stephanie Grabowski

If you're using a keyword research tool, find specific keywords for your niche that have lower competition, but moderate uses each month. For example, focus on keywords that have at least 1-5k uses/month, and less than 30k to 50k unique results for them in Google. You can type in a search term in parenthesis in Google and then look at the...
