changing established site from HTML to Wordpress

I need to preserve my fairly good SEO page positions, link juice gained over 10 years blogging. I'm updating to WPress from my old HTML site, for many reasons, mobile compatibility, style, easy of changing links....etc. How can I best do this, as the new pages written on WP are php and the page it replaces ends in .HTML for example NOW:...

After reading this thread and watching a video on a related SEO subject, I decided to look what Google had indexed for one of my sites by Googling " site:mywebsite.com" . WOW !!! half the pages indexed were rubbish. I don't know how attachments even get indexed , but I found 10. Another 10 with no content just a few letters for a...

Uk products selling but hardly any US sales

I've built up my main affiliate site, selling kitchen goods ( Amazon) it took me about 5 years with the steep learning curve, with very little time to spare after work and without any help except Marks marvellous Affilorama. My UK commissions are now always above £200 a month but I only occasionally get a US sale. I feature US products,...

Googles Index of my pages contains mistakes

Finally the unwanted pages are gone ! I noticed a big increase in sales, same day as I rechecked for these pages, but of course work on the site is continuous and ongoing, so I really can't say that those changes are responsible for my good fortune, it may be careful link building or my new articles on the site. At least I know I can clear out...

Amazon Widgets Don't Work In Chrome

Anyone got any ideas, I'm missing out here, potential customers viewing my site using Chrome can't see my Amazon BUY NOW widgets. They show up fine in IE and in FireFox browsers. Is this another Google ploy ? Andrew

Hi and thanks for your time responding I used googles tool for removing URLs from the index on March 2nd , but they are still there !! A quick check with site:sitename.com shows the sample page is still there and the category I deleted on my site is still there. Does it take a while for Google to delete them? All these useless URLs are...

ChromEngage Review: Getting Traffic From Your Own Chrome Extension

Re the Chrome Web Store update 2016... why would Chrome decide not to support Windows ( or Apple or Linux ) for new apps, that's crazy, its like cutting their own throat. Are there any numbers ie feedback on how well this app is being adopted?
