Steve on the web

My name is Steve Benedict and I have some expertise in many areas of finance and business and health issues. Much of my writing is a combination of research and life's experience. I've been a Montana State Senator and chaired the Business and Industry committee. Much of my knowledge about finance and health care comes from many late nights of studying the Montana Code Annotated and researching legislative bills.

Health, Wealth and Happiness. If your niche fits there, write good articles, design a good site, become a keyword junky. Steve

PPC/Clickbank Hybrid Site???

27th March, 2010 - Posted by Steve Benedict

Thanks Troy. Your remarks are what my gut is telling me. Keep in mind though, that I have websites for my affiliate products...not just a lens. PPC/Clickbank Hybrid Site???

22nd March, 2010 - Posted by Steve Benedict

Is anyone doing much with combining Clickbank products with Adsense. I've been trying it on several my sites that I can use to experiment with. I try to use my index page as a Clickbank landing page. Then, whenever I write an article for a post on the site, I monetize it with Adsense. For instance I have a site with about 10 articles. Three of...

What's the competitive edge of this forum?

I think you are in the right place. Forums like this are kind of generational. Newcomers are welcome to soak up as much as they need...and be "takers". Then, as you progress, pay it forward by sticking around to pass things on to the next wave of newcomers. In that way, everyone benefits and as you become an expert, you find yourself...

A Warning About Hostgator Shared Hosting

22nd March, 2010

I've been very happy with Blue Host. You can talk to their guys in customer support with relative ease, or on their live chat. They usually have pretty good suggestions about CPU throttling, which can be a major pain in the arse! I think everyone experiences difficulties with hosting, here and...

That comment on the guy talking too fast really hit home. I thought it was just me. I also noticed it on George Browns webinar. Between the slight accent, his penchant for fading out the last part of his sentences...as if he were unsure of himself..or maybe just his manner of speaking...it was...

A Great Keyword Research Tip

I can agree with trying to find people that are more committed in the buying cycle, and closer to making a purchase. My question is how to market articles toward them? The EPF Generation X robot is a pretty specific category, and not easy to generate 25 to 30 different articles on. After a few Q...

Google tutorial suggests exact match also. I'm not sure where I got it, but I use a formula that can project daily income ( in a perfect world). You go to Google's keyword tool, enter your subject like currency trading, and get the list. Then, use use exact match...then under show/ hide box,...
