Google’s Removing Right-Side Ads?

Less ad space = more competition = increased revenue for Google. Maybe Google was losing advertisers so had to tighten things up? Just guessing. Time will tell, but typically, changes benefit Google, not necessarily anyone else.

Great article! It is so good to see more and more of this type of advice, especially from high-profile sites. I think some people either really don't believe it, or they sell services to people who don't know better. It's harder, but a cleaner, higher-quality Internet space is best for everyone.

Hi Chris I agree with the above, but would like to add that Google Quality Guidelines are the source for what is okay and/or not. I agree with the above. Just want to add that all posts and pages should be natural. Sometimes keyword density is used to manipulate rankings. Do not use keyword density numbers to artificially insert keywords as this is damaging to your site. You should create articles/pages/posts that are truly helpful, unique and supply a wealth of...

It used to be considered a best practice to use keywords in domains, to the exclusion of all others. But things have changed and I agree with all the sentiments here.
