How to get 19000 Twitter followers in a few days

17th July, 2009 - Posted by Chris Goddard

Hey Renato - Thanks for that link. I'll be honest when I first saw the page, I was a little skeptical as to the quality of the content - one of those good old sales pages... let's be honest, you've seen one, seen 'em all! But Perry does have some really interesting stuff to say. That little ebook he has for free download is really interesting,...

Clickbank Alternatives and Finding Other Affiliate Programs

10th July, 2009 - Posted by Chris Goddard

I've also found a lot of interesting programs at http://www.affiliatescout.com/ It's a directory of multiple affiliate programs, so some a Clickbank, some are CJ, Linkshare and others. But you get to search by product category and it gives you lots to choose from.

How to get 19000 Twitter followers in a few days

I'm sorry to tell you Sean, but I suspect that these systems or anything like them are pretty much useless. You see, you might get thousands of followers, but they're going to be all random accounts or other people trying to flog off products. So you end up with this little community of people following each other on Twitter, selling the same...

Bookmarking Demon or Social Submitter??

3rd July, 2009 - Posted by Chris Goddard

Personally I think you'd be better off with a slightly more manual system like http://www.socialmarker.com/ The problem with those systems is for starters they like to talk about the hundreds of social bookmarking services they'll submit to... but most of them are very specialized and wont actually bring you much traffic anyway. Also, I'd be...

Getting Articles and Blogs Indexed and on 1st Page

I would have to disagree - respectfully of course :) I think that more and more people are going to be learning to use the advanced options on Google. It's getting harder and harder to find anything without them. While it might be just the advanced users using them at the moment, they will become more common. It depends who you're targeting...

Most useful SEO tools and websites

3rd July, 2009 - Posted by Chris Goddard

Just another addition. I found this Firefox plugin the other day which is quite good for in-browser writing and optimization. Lets you check keywords and search counts all from within your browser. Then it tells you how many times it appears in what you've written. Pretty cool. http://labs.wordtracker.com/seo-blogger

Don't see any links I'm afraid. While there are some great tools for social bookmarking submission, many of the best ones are actually free. Many of the paid ones that promise 'top-of-digg' rankings are simply scams or spam machines. I've use these tools in the past: (both...

Cultural Conflict – Do we need to start thinking globally in our marketing?

18th January, 2010

@BLKRGMT76 I think though it's important to remember that just because the KFC brand is owned in America, the company in Australia is an Australian run subsidiary with few ties back to it's home country other than branding and licencing. This is the same as Coca-Cola, which though a global...

Cultural Conflict – Do we need to start thinking globally in our marketing?

Thanks for your comment Sharon. Haha - moving back cos I'm a Husky at heart! :) (and actually Vegas is the Suicide capital of the states - and they don't have nearly as much good music!) Perhaps you're right - however Europe tends to be more culturally homogeneous - for example when people of...

Relevance – the seemingly obvious but often forgotten rule of marketing

9th December, 2009

Hi Renato - great comment. You're right - there can be times when you can make some assumptions about the people who will be visiting a particular page and show them other ads that would be relevant to them. Don't worry - most of the people I know that hit those gaming websites don't have too...
