Alexis on the web

Alexis Wilke has been a software engineer since an early age (11). He wrote languages, tools, video games, the only tracking system for live weather broadcasting on television that has been working since 1995. Now he wrote Snap! Websites, a system bringing you full featured websites available for individuals, bloggers and small businesses.

By the way, his favorite hobby is... programming.

Google very clearly says that they will decide whether to use the "SEO description" (the Description META tag) or not. Actually, most often they don't use it unless you search for something that's not in the body of any of your posts. So the chances to see your description are rather slime today. Now, as they say, it is a good idea...

Should I accept pingbacks?

So... If I understand properly, the idea is to gain a few friends via some auto-commenting system which of course spammers have "discovered" as a great source of auto-back-linking. We never stop progress... 8-) I guess for Joe, turning it off is probably a good idea, for most of us, keeping it on as long as it's manageable is not a...
