Why Has SEO Traffic to my Blog Dried Up?

Hello

For the past week, SEO traffic to my blog has dried up. What's going on here? Is it an algorithm issue or what?

Thanx

As far as I am aware there is no major algo changes in the past few days. You should check your webmaster tools to see any errors from your end.

You used to have great rankings for your website, it showed up everywhere in the search engines, and you were receiving lots of traffic that was generating emails, phone calls, leads, and sales. Then something happened, you’re not quite sure what, and the leads and sales dried up. You check your analytics reports and see a sudden and distinct loss in traffic. Now you’re alarmed. You check your rankings, and they’ve gone down or disappeared entirely. At this point you’re not just alarmed, you’re terrified. How could this have happened? More importantly, what can be done to fix the problem and get the leads and sales flowing again?

You should check your backlinks history and see if you have spammy links.

You need not to worry unless you have followed Google guidelines. I recommened you to check the errors in google master and also check your sites error by doing website analysis through tools like "iwebcheck" "seositecheckup" etc and repair those errors you get

This is weird and I don’t see the problem is in algorithm changes. What content did you post lately? Maybe the answer is in it. Check the console and try to figure out what the differences are in these past weeks. Maybe you just need to improve your SEO and that’s it.

check your keyword rankings, If you see major changes there can be several issues. Have you changed or edited your contents recently? It could be a result of negative SEO too or if you have lost your ranking it is time for you to focus on quality SEO. Check you webmaster tools for errors.

Just ensure you adhere to all standards and guidelines laid by Google. Focus on optimizing your web content for SEO and update your content as often as possible. Most searched keywords change every other day, so maybe your content is outdated and needs to be revived with current most searched keywords for SEO purposes

I don't want to fake being a pro in this matter, but I guess a suggestion won't do any harm. My thinking is that you have abandoned SEO optimization of your blog and concentrated more on affiliate marketing. You may be posting Ads that attract clients or sharing your posts on Social media that has led to the decent traffic to your affiliate account. Just try working more on SEO and making necessary adjustments

Here are some common reason for sudden decline of website traffic -

1) Recent Changes in the website design of the site, which often affects the loading time

2) Issues related to Tracking Code

3) Simple technical issues like 404 errors, long page load times, missing/incorrect on-page SEO (search engine optimization) elements, etc.

4) Server Overload

5) SEO Issues

6) Panda Or Penguin Update
