google website optimizer A/B experement

i have had a campaign going for a couple of months now, i have had just about 3000 clicks (because of my limited budget) i have been paying 4-8 cents a click and actually my daily budget exceeds googles recommeded daily budget (surpise LOL)
my current landing page scores a A+ on traffic travis PAGE ANALYSIS
i have only had one sell- witch i believe has to do with the layout of my lading page-like i said i am getting clicks but not converting to sales
so i want to build a more simple version of my lading page
is that what the A/B experiment is for?? and do i just create another landing page
lets say my landing page url is http://www.landingpage.com would i create the other lading page as [http://www.landingpage2.com]

obviously google need 2 landing pages to test

Reason: unlinked URL as it is only used for illustration and not an actual link

Google's website optimizer is to split-test content. It would be different content off of your one site, which, yes, could be two separate landing pages...although they wouldn't be two separate domains like you listed.

A/B testing is to test two separate pages. so, say you have...

example.com/landingpage1.html
and...
example.com/landingpage2.html

A/B experiment helps you split-test those two pages...
