Thanks for the reply. I was suggesting emailing the customer with a thank you message and an offer to subscribe. As an affiliate of CB, the only way I know to get the customer's email is from the order stats. It may be different if you own the product.
But as you point out we need to be very careful. So it's probably not worth the risk of a spam complaint, just to try to get an opt-in.
