Keywords - word order importance and research

Can anyone tell me the importance(or not) of the order of words in a long tail keyword.
For instance, if using Wordtracker I discover that 'small business opportunity' will give me a great KEI with little competition, what variations, if any should I use.
eg 'opportunity for small business', 'small business opportunities'

Also, I am a little confused about the use of Wordtracker for keyword research

Should I look for keywords where there is little competition?
(which I think has been suggested as a bad idea by Mark as it means there is no money there)

or

Should I go for keywords where there is competition as it means there is a market there?

Cheers

"dum dee doo" and "dee doo dum" are going to give you pretty much the same thing... just use the word in an order that will make sense to you.

You want keywords that have competition and make money, but not enough so you will never rank for them.
