Hi CP,

Landing pages are used on PPC campaigns. This is where you refer users who clicked on your ad. This is where they "land" after clicking on your ad. Squeeze pages act the same way. The only difference is that squeeze pages contain opt in forms.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Hi CP,

I agree with Cecille.

Landing page- is defined as a page where visitors are directed from clicking a link (which comes from another site). This page is basically a sales page that contains the product's info.

Squeeze page- is a page where you separate visitors and potential buyers. Like Cecille said, this contains an opt-in form - a sales funnel that separates buyers from visitors. his is where you provide visitors free information or free product or bonus in exchange for their contact information.

Daniel Lew provides samples of these pages here-> http://www.danlew.com/landing-page-vs-squeeze-page/

I hope that helps!

ok... thank you.... BUT, then if you have really awesome squeeze pages for several products with great content, headers, designs, opt-in forms, newsletter follow ups, short video presentation, etc.etc..do you really need a regular good website ??? seems like a great squeeze page will do better ??? they say websites opt -ins and purchases are 1-10% and the really good squeeze pages around 20-35% ,,..... please advise.....

For me "landing page" and "squeeze page" is the same thing. Both are usually one page websites with one goal: To generate leads for a business.

You can use them with PPC ads. On occasion Google will reject the page. Usually you can just make a few changes to the page and resubmit and get it approved. Here is a good article on using squeeze pages with Google:

This article explains a few things to add to a squeeze page that was denied by Google. Click "Designs" to see some excellent squeeze page examples.

Actually landing pages pages and squeeze pages are "supporting" pages for your site - where the banner ads or link ads came from.

You still need a good, working site with quality and updated content so you can attract visitors and direct them to your landing/squeeze page.

I totally agree with this view. everything on your site is geared to get either an opt in / sale / or both

Does anyone know how to make your website that was created (using AffilioJetpack) into just a squeeze page? Basically I don't want to have the articles/content on there. I just want people to go to the site and see the squeeze page which promotes the E-book. And after they put their info in there, I would redirect them to the Thank You Page/Affiliate page.
