placing image in newsletters (aweber)

This probably is a newbie question but i cant figure out how to place a image in my email newsletters (im using aweber)

When I want to place an image i click on the add image icon at the top of the aweber screen
a window comes up
the picture i want to use is saved on my pc
I dont see anyware in the window ware to upload image or anything

so how do you do this?

Hey nates450r,

Any images you add to your Aweber HTML emails need to be hosted on the web somewhere - either on your own website, or someone else's (you should have permission to use it if you are linking to someone else's). You can't upload an image from your PC. Read more about it here: http://www.aweber.com/faq/questions/204 ... essages%3F

I don't recommend sending HTML emails though. The open rates are much lower than plain text emails as most people have HTML turned off by default in their email clients. If you want to use images and other media, the best idea is to create an online newsletter and then send out a short plain text email containing a link to the webpage.
