OK I'm In!!!

Hi guys! Sorry it has been awhile but my offline job has been very demanding so I haven't had the time to build my online business as of late.

However I have been up since 4am having a little 'mid-life crisis' so to speak, I am in my forties and I still don't have that sense of accomplishment we all desire concerning our lives. I am a carpenter by trade and it keeps me working but there is no security in it with this economy and I am constantly wondering if this job will be my last. I have been to three funerals this month alone and there is nothing like death to make you think about life.

So I've decided to just take a deep breath and jump in the water. If you have been following along you are well aware of my attempts to make it with my blog but I couldn't make the connection as far as how to make it profitable. The crazy thing is that I haven't written on it in months and I still get almost 1,000 unique visitors a month to it.

My revenue strictly comes from Adsense earnings and to date that has amounted to a whopping 314.76 - for three years worth of effort. I know I can do this because everyone knows my two biggest passions are writing and anything computers/internet. I am no dummy and that seems to be my biggest enemy. I gain a little knowledge and go running out the gate thinking I have mastered this business. For all the newbies - BIG MISTAKE! It has cost me hundreds of dollars in buying the 'guru-get-rich-right-now' products. They are scams and I had to learn the hard way.

But now armed with these lessons, I find myself coming back to this site. It wasn't until recently that I figured out why - Mark Ling is the real deal. He knows what he is talking about and he still makes his money with affiliate marketing - not just selling subscriptions and courses like a lot of other 'gurus.'

I've realized that the biggest thing that sets Mark apart is that he genuinely cares about his subscribers and actually wants to teach you how to make serious money in this business. The amount of content, the videos, the instruction all shows how much he cares about our success.

It's why the decision to purchase his Affilo-Blueprint course was easy. Money is very hard for me to come by. I literally have to sit down and calculate how I am going to buy disposable razors. My wife left me for awhile over my past guru purchases (we worked it out by the way), but even she sees this as the best investment I've made so far.

I've watched all the videos three times. I am now so convinced that this will work that I am going to chronicle my business building every step of the way in the forums. Hopefully this will help others who are also in my shoes to take action - which is the biggest obstacle we all face. So follow along because I won't stop writing until I get to somewhere about $1,000/week. I think that's a very reachable goal.

So with that, let the journey begin and I hope you become as inspired by Mark as I have.

Hi Fenway2k,

I can really relate to a lot of your story. Struggling to make ends meet in this economy, etc. Personally, AffiloBlueprint changed my life and I hope it changes yours too.

Don't give up, though! This system works, but it may take time and persistence.

Best of luck with everything. If you ever need any help with anything along the way we're all here at the forum to help you out.

Best of luck to you!

It can and does work, just keep at it. Someday you'll wonder how you ever put up with a "normal" job.

Don't give up! Keep that renewed passion and run with it.

Most important is that you be consistent and take action. One of my biggest mistakes is getting caught up in the "research" phase and being too fearful to jump in and take the action necessary to succeed. But you'll never earn money or break free from your comparatively secure safe job unless you throw out the excuses and get to work.

Cheers to your success!

Hi fenway2k,

i just visited your site and you did a fantastic job with it. And if I understood it correctly, you only spent half a day doing it. :)

I hope that you continue moving forward in this project. It takes a lot time, effort and focus but the rewards really make it worth it in the end.

Keep us posted and all the best!

Hi Fenway2K,

Your story (even if your success is not yet there) is inspiring. From what you just told us, there are a lot of lessons that we can all learn here. From your standpoint, you have seen your mistakes and from there you have learned a lot and is willing to go further to achieve your goals to success.

I am sure everyone here (at some point) can relate to what you experienced. I myself had troubles continuing what I started. I always tend to start things great and never get to finish them. I can say the perfect formula to any endeavors is to stay focused, always think of goals, and dream high. It is a good thing that you now have plans and goals. But remember to stay "focused". I know it is hard to do that. However, no matter what (and I am sure you will have more "bumps" and "downsides" along the way), you just keep going, be positive and focus on your goals more.

I would like to see how you progress from here. I love your first site. Keep us updated!

If you are planning on staying with your blog as well as doing Marks system what I hear everywhere the way to make it blogging is to be consistent meaning if you start putting up an article every 2 weeks and do that for a while your readers will get used to reading what you have to say every 2 weeks so you would need to keep that pace of putting something up every 2 weeks or how ever ofter you want to post you just need to be there regularly. I haven't used Marks system but have heard a lot of good comments about it but from all the free stuff I have used I have learned a lot and can only imagine how much he has to offer inside. Mark

I must add "inspiration" always help a lot- more than we can think of. I would say, you build your business based from your "inspiration". Success comes easy when you are inspired and focused at doing what you really like.

Good luck!
