My experiences with PayDotCom.com

Ok. Since nobody has posted about Paydotcom.com I will freely speak about my experiences.

First of all there's a pro:

You can add one product or service for FREE to the market place after you have at least sold 1 item.

If you want to have more of your own products in the market-place you will have to pay $29.95 for lifetime and unlimited .
Same condition: 1 item sold before appearing in the market-place.

You have the opportunity to announce your new product to the affiliates via a forum.

There the con's begin to appear:

Very poor support. If you go to the help-section it happens that numerous topics are waiting for approval. Why?

I've read about affiliates that didn't receive commissions after doing all the hard work.
Or vendors not receiving the exact number of sales.

I've submitted some products with resale rights to the market place.

I paid for it so I will leave it that way. Who knows will I have some sales to get my $30 back.

To be honest I didn't visit the website since that post .

But I got curious because of your question.

I visited the forum and there were again 14 topics awaiting approval.

Also, nothing sold yet.

No I'm still not convinced that Paydotcom.com should be recommended as an affiliate network.

Actually, I would also love to hear what other Affilorama members think about it.

We have been using paydotcom to promote an ebook and have 26 affiliates but very low sales- one of the many challenges we find is the slowness of the website loading. The answer on the website says it is about security!!!!!!!!!!!!
there is no customer service and given Mike Filsaime of Butterfly marketing has just boasted he made 300k plus on 20 hour you think he might put some money into the service.
He never responds to emails and we have though that maybe a blogpost about this might put him into action?
we are moving to clickbank

So no I would not recommend it

Hi, I have used paydotcom for a while now to sell one of my products. Yes the site is slow, however I have always recieved help. I do use mainly clickbank as from a merchant point of view it is much less fuss on payments etc. However if you are selling gambling products like me, a refund on the clickbank system allows habitual refund customers free rein.
